News from Eric Raymond, Co-Founder

Dear Everest Lodge Members,

Our last Extreme Buy was not sent out (via email) on time for which I apologize.  However, please remember to check the website every Tuesday and Friday for the latest Extreme Buy as it is just as easy to see what it is online as it is via email!  Our current extreme buy is Omaha steaks and I recommend you go to the website (or view the attachment) to read all about it in detail.  There are still a few Mother’s Day Specials remaining so if you’re looking for an unbeatable deal for mothers, don’t hesitate to take advantage of the Mother’s Day Extreme Buy.

Points Overview

I've included just a quick review on the points for those who didn't get a chance to read the last email.  Every Extreme Buy that we offer has points attached to it that help us turn the offer from a great buy to an extreme buy!  This approach works especially well for those items where manufacturers do not allow us to sell it for less than a minimum advertised price--thus protecting their existing dealers while still allowing us to take advantage of great products at unbeatable wholesale prices.  This is very similar to a member rewards program such as those offered by credit cards or frequent flyer clubs.  The points that you accumulate are very valuable and can really help you save a ton of money on purchases or upgrades through Team Everest.

Everest Points are equivalent to cash and are earned through the Alpine Quick Start and all other bonuses tied to the No Limits Forced Matrix.  Everest Points can also be used to make purchases in the store if desired or may be “cashed out” using our new Speedy Wallet system (more details forthcoming).  Each point is equivalent to $10 USD.

Store Points are awarded via Alpine Quick Start payouts or the Sherpa Matching Bonus.  These points can be used towards anything in the O.W.N. Store and are no different than cash.  For example, you receive 5 Store Points when selling an E-Pak 2 which is equivalent to $50 cash value in the store.  Ten percent of your Sherpa Matching bonus is also awarded as Store Points.  It’s like having a free shopping spree every month!

Upgrade Points can be used to upgrade from different E-Pak levels.  There is a maximum amount that can be used for each upgrade but any remaining points (or for those who are already at the $1799 E-Pak 3 level) can be traded with others or used as an incentive for helping new members in your downline upgrade.  Each point has a $10 value.  For example, 4 upgrade points equals $40 towards the upgrade of an E-Pak.

X-Points are versatile “eXtreme Buy Points” that are very similar to Store Points but can only be used within a certain section of our store called the X-Buy Gallery.  X-Points are awarded to members through Extreme Buy purchases and also as part of the $99 Summit Business Access (monthly autoship).  E-Pak 1 members get 1 X-Point each month ($10 value), E-Pak 2 members get 3 X-Points each month ($30 value) and E-Pak 3 members get 10 X-Points each month ($100 value).  X-Points are an incredible way to get products at insane discounts—with these valuable points you can save up to 75% off of normal retail prices.  Then you can use cash or Store Points to pay the remaining balance.  X-Points are accumulating now in your point ledgers and will be available to spend once the X-Buy gallery is ready (by the official launch date on July 5th).

Everest Sales Points are nothing more than a way to determine the number of E-Pak retail sales you have made.  They effectively determine your leadership level in Team Everest and do not have a cash value.  They always accumulate and they never zero out.  We have a special deal going between now and the Official Launch on July 5th.  Those who purchase an E-Pak 1 ($99 level) will earn the Team Leader level (40 Everest Sales Points.  Also, those who purchase an E-Pak 2 will earn the King’s Peak level (360 Everest Sales Points) and those who purchase and E-Pak 3 will earn the Matterhorn level (560 Everest Sales Points).
